Most common branching scheme I've seen is having a copy of of Master called Develop, and devs create - hopefully - short-lived branches that get deployed to a testing setup and QA'd, then iterated upon until it passes QA, then merged back into Develop. ![]() The main branch you spin releases from can be called anything, really (worked in a couple of places where they call it HEAD, one where it was called THISISPRODUCTION).
